What are the Bach Flower Remedies?

The Bach Flower Remedies are 38 homeopathically prepared plant and flower based remedies, discovered by Edward Bach, a greatly respected doctor who believed that our mental and physical health are linked and that emotions are at the root of physical disorders. There is also a special combination remedy, Rescue Remedy, to be used during times of shock and great emotional pressure.

Each remedy treats a different feeling, and aids a different emotion. They can be taken individually or they can be mixed together to match the way you feel. They help to manage the emotional demands of everyday life. They work by stimulating the body’s own capacity to heal itself, by balancing negative feelings, helping you to take control, feel good about yourself and get more out of life.

They are unique, simple to use and suitable for all the family. They are subtle, gentle and do not act via the physical body, but at the more subtle levels, directly influencing the energy system of each person. They are harmonising, healing and there can be no over-dosage, no side effects, and no incompatibility with other methods of treatment. They are completely natural and safe to use at any time, even in conjunction with any conventional, complementary or alternative medicine. In fact, even newborn babies and pregnant women can take them, as they are not only non-toxic but also non-addictive. Pets as well as plants have been also known to benefit from taking the Bach Flower Remedies.
